Bad Leonfelden is a pretty market town on the Czech border. Nothing particularly exciting happened when I was there. The hotel had a nice restaurant, and a free sauna, and was opposite a great cake shop.
It’s a place that’s always at the cutting edge, as you can see.
However the week before, my hip had got slammed in a faulty train door, leaving behind a giant bruise. These jumbo tubs of cream were only €4 in the local farm supply shop. It was really unclear if they were aimed at humans, or livestock, or both, but I thought it was worth a go.
This stuff really works! (Also having access to a daily sauna probably did me good too).
