Fitzroy Gardens is a park in the centre of Melbourne with a model village, lovely botanical conservatory and some fairly strange sculptures and tree carvings. There are also some scarred trees in the park from before the arrival of europeans from where the local Wurundjeri people used to carefully cut off large sheets of bark for use in boat-making.
