Here’s Australia continued- my trip to Tasmania and the pretty seaside town of Sandy Bay, hometown of Errol Flyn. If you have any idea from the cartoon that Tasmania is a hot desert place, it’s not think. Think more New Zealand. It also reminded me strongly of both Scotland and Iceland.
I was staying in this extremely early 90s Flintstones-styled motel. I was the only guest it seemed, and the restaurants on the ground floor were mysteriously shut.
Tasmania is more mountainous than the mainland.
The next landfall from here is Antarctica.
